12V Power Pack With Built In Charger:
A deep cycle battery pack, complete with charger makes conversion
of an ordinary fork truck to a roll handling vehicle absolutely
simple. Power Pack offers up to 12 hours of continuous use before
recharging.
DC Electric Hoist:
The CAC Fork Truck Roll Handler incorporates a specially selected
hoist featuring a heavy duty load brake. It also features a quiet,
efficient 3 stage planetary gear train designed for load lifting
ideally suited for lifting and turning rolls. Roll turn cycle time
is less than 6 seconds.
Base Frame:
Rectangular steel tubing, quality controlled weldmarks, the CAC
Base Frame smoothly and easily slides on truck forks. Frame is
attractively finished in a beautiful OSHA oriented material
handling yellow. To load cantilever shafts order hoist and
suspending chain reversed on frame.
Center Lift:
Available in 3" and 6" I.D. core sizes as standard
production models. Specially designed hardened steel grippers, two
on each side, engage the core when lifting. The grippers lock in
direct proportion to the amount of load they are lifting. It is
impossible to disengage when the center lift is carrying weight;
an important safety feature. Simply, effortlessly, the case
hardened handle is manually raised to withdraw center lift from
the core. The CAC Center Lift is finished in a rust proofed black
ozide.
"L" Roll Pivot Arm
Heavy duty steel tubing easily rotates from 2 point suspension,
and adjusts for varying roll diameters and widths.
Also Available: When using your fork truck for purposes
other than roll handling, use the CAC Storage Rack. Bolted to a
convenient wall, the fork truck operator can convert back and
forth from roll handling with amazing ease.  |
